About The Gun Dog Challenge

Gun Dog Challenge is a fun way to get your dog on birds out of season with a fun and friendly competition. It’s also a great way to showcase you and your dog’s talents while creating wonderful memories with your dog in the field! Five different tournaments are held at the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club from December to April with a year end prize money over $13,000!

Hunter: $99 (4 bird run) $25 Option Pot – Top 3 Trophies

Puppy: Pups under 2 years of 1st tournament
Singles: $125 (4 bird run) $25 Option Pot
Doubles: $150 (5 bird run) $25 Option Pot

Open: Singles: $125 (4 bird run) $25 Option Pot
Doubles: $150 (5 bird run) $25 Option Pot

Pro: Singles: $250 (two 4 bird runs) $50 Towards Pot
Doubles: $200 (6 bird run) 30% Mandatory Purse

Masters: 55+ $125 (4 bird run) $25 Option Pot
