About The Gun Dog Challenge

Gun Dog Challenge is a fun way to get your dog on birds out of season with a fun and friendly competition. It’s also a great way to showcase you and your dog’s talents while creating wonderful memories with your dog in the field! Five different tournaments are held at the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club from December to April.

We offer a variety of different classes to make sure there is an opportunity for everyone!

Hunter: $119 (3 bird run)

Puppy: Pups under 2 years of 1st tournament
Singles: $155 (4 bird run)
Doubles: $180 (5 bird run)

Open: Singles: $155 (4 bird run)
Doubles: $180 (5 bird run)

Pro: Singles: $180 ( 4 bird runs) 30% Mandatory Purse
Doubles: $220 (6 bird run) 30% Mandatory Purse

Masters: 55+ $155 (4 bird run)

Ladies, Jr. & Mixed Doubles: $199 (3 bird run)
